Buzz King, Ph.D., M.Div.
I am a Professor of Computer Science at the University of Colorado in Boulder. I teach 3D animation with an emphasis on Autodesk Maya - arguably the most popular application for creating 3D animated projects.
I got my Bachelors in Mathematics from Occidental College in Los Angeles and My Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Southern California.
I am also a graduate of the seminary at the Iliff School of Theology in Denver, and I work as a volunteer chaplain at Boulder Community Hospital in Boulder, Colorado.
My research has been funded by DARPA, the NSF, the Smithsonian, the Office of Naval Research, the Department of Energy, the US Army, Martin Marrietta, IBM, and AT&T. I have consulted for major software vendors and the FBI. I have also served as an expert witness in both civil and criminal cases.
